Finally, Giant Rooks are coming back after two years on a big Deutschland tour! “The Future Is Cancelled” — or not? After all, the German indie-rock quintet will be back on tour in 2026 with new music. After a year full of highlights, Giant Rooks return with their new single “The Future Is Cancelled.” Between delicate piano melodies and a soft voice, a calm and reflective sound unfolds. A song that is at once thoughtful and comforting, and shows that Giant Rooks continue to bravely explore new paths without forgetting their roots. Following the 2024-released and chart-topping album “How Have You Been?” and the subsequent success tour of the same name, the five stepped back in 2025 to creative work. In September, the band played two exclusive headline shows in Deutschland: their completely sold-out Homecoming concerts in their hometown Hamm. There, Giant Rooks danced between melancholy and euphoria with a total of 20,000 fans, friends, and family. Showing once again incredible energy — one that now reaches from the Westphalian small town to the entire globe. Now Fred, Jonathan, Luca and the two Finns want to feel tour air again and will return to venues on a total of 14 dates across Deutschland, Österreich and die Schweiz, bringing them back into the spotlight.

In a moment full of energy, he presented a first taste of the new songs, exclusively for his closest circle of family and fans from the early days.The new album "Zum Glück in die Zukunft III" will be released in spring 2026. With this, Marteria will perform at several festivals next summer and go on a large "Zum Glück in die Zukunft" tour through arenas in all of Germany. The tour kicks off on August 14th in Rostock, before continuing to Münster, Köln, Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Stuttgart, München, Frankfurt, and Hannover from mid-October.The first single "Babylonia" will be released as early as September 5th, 2025. "Babylonia" is a truly unique song about the current feeling of constant overwhelm and the eternal longing for belonging and security.
