St. Gertrud

Joyful Singing is the name and also the motto of the St. Gertrud Gospel Choir. They sing American and African Gospels and Spirituals with enthusiasm, as well as other songs with spiritual content. The joy of singing, the feeling, and the power of music are important. You too can join in and set a good evening on its way.

Yeti and band are our guests this year from this year's Popkurs Hamburg. Billo Bo$$ Bit$ch, multilingual talent, black Nina Hagen and self-made artist: YETUNDEY is a rapper and an exciting and creative mind in the music scene. Yeti's musical cosmos ranges from banging electro-rap to introspective, orchestral ballads and pop hooks. As complex as life and with no room for stereotypes, Yeti processes her environment in German, English, and French. And this environment is sometimes colorful and exciting – and sometimes pitch black.

The Austro-rock bard and native Austrian Martin Oberleitner lives as a singer-songwriter in Hamburg and plays a mix of atmospheric rock songs and dreamy ballads. His songs, consisting of a fabric of poetry and music, tell stories full of love and melancholy. They are funny, sad, thoughtful, and partly socially critical. Martin Oberleitner sometimes sings with and sometimes without an Austrian dialect, but always true to the title of his first album: Vollrausch G`fühl.

Singer-songwriter and pianist from Hamburg. Musically, she moves between English pop and singer-songwriter stylistics. She has already performed on stages in Germany, London, the USA, Canada, and Sweden and reached the final of The Voice of Persia in 2022. The musician with Iranian roots also sings about the longing for freedom for Iran and draws attention to the situation of her compatriots.

With his likeable stage presence, DARRE captivates his fans from the first second. From the second second, you notice his awesome outfits, and by the third, DARRE is already telling his first joke, and you know the evening will be good. The singer/songwriter blends extravagance and absolute likeability – you just take to him. His German pop-rock songs and lyrics are motivating and touching, with a catchy tune danger that lasts for days.
