Gospel & Choir
The Kodály Chor Hamburg invites you to an a cappella Christmas concert. Our programme is diverse, combining familiar Christmas classics with lesser-known pieces that, in their own special way, are part of the Christmas season for us. You can expect cheerful, reflective and hopeful sounds that may bring a little Christmas magic into everyday life. At the same time, we are aware that Christmas is not associated with joy and happy memories for everyone. We also want to give space to these different feelings through our music. We hope to reach as many hearts as possible, inspire thought and bring a little joy.Our programme includes works by Maurice Duruflé, Johann S. Bach, Edvard Grieg, Francis Poulenc, Martin Asander and Hans Leo Hassler, among others. We look forward to a very special Fourth Sunday of Advent in this beautiful church.
