Despite his chickens and neighbours, he often feels lonely. That changes abruptly when Mrs. Andersson gives him the little cat Findus. From now on, peace and boredom are over!The lively Findus vigorously stirs up life on the farm and always provides surprises. Together, Pettersson and his cheeky cat experience many exciting adventures: They organize a fireworks display for the fox, build a balloon chicken, and even a cable car. The chickens, a pig, and a cow also cause a lot of commotion. And when Pettersson urgently needs to get flour for a birthday cake, Findus even tries his hand as a bullfighter. The characters are based on the book's illustrations and were created by Jürgen Maaßen from Hamburg. The gigantic stage set was created by Daniel Städtler. With the harsh words "Hey, hand over that thing!" misfortune takes its course: The robber Hotzenplotz robs Kasperl's grandmother of her new coffee grinder. After Grandmother counts to 999, she faints. Constable Alois Dimpfelmoser is at a loss. Kasperl and Seppel want to get to the bottom of the scoundrel. They prepare an old potato crate, on which they paint "Gold Beware". With this, they want to trick Hotzenplotz. The two friends head into the forest with the gold crate. But then everything turns out differently: Hotzenplotz sees through the plan and captures Kasperl and Seppel. To make matters worse, he sells Kasperl to the great magician Petrosilius Zwackelmann. In the magic castle, Kasperl meets an enchanted toad, who is actually the fairy Amaryllis. Only fairy herbs can free her. Will Kasperl manage to escape the magic castle? This question will be answered by the puppet show of the Kammerpuppenspiele Bielefeld.
