Huge, warmly glowing tipi tents, a real large illuminated fir tree and a gigantic glittering moose are the highlights alongside the mistletoe arch among the many small decorated Swedish huts. In the huts, artisans and other vendors present all kinds of beautiful, useful, handmade and special items. You will find minerals, jewelry, original Herrnhuter Stars, fashionable accessories, clothing and handicrafts from Peru, classic Christmas decorations and plenty of ideas for Christmas gifts. Naturally, you can also buy a Christmas tree for your living room here. A visit to a Christmas market also calls for hearty food such as steamed yeast dumplings, delicious grilled bratwurst and flame-grilled salmon. New this year: schnitzel burgers, tarte flambée and all kinds of sandwiches. There are also traditional African Christmas dishes. For something sweet, there are crêpes, Schmalzkuchen, nuts and candied almonds. For all veggie fans, there is delicious corn prepared in various ways.  This is Christmas in its purest form.
