Störtebeker beer sommelier Dennis Spahn is delighted to celebrate the world premiere of the Tyrell Winter Beer Menu for the fourth year in a row, together with master brewer Thomas Tyrell from the "Tyrell BrauKunstAtelier" in Berlin.After a Störtebeker welcome beer, we dedicate ourselves to the current vintage beers from the Tyrell BrauKunstAtelier, accompanied by a finely tuned 4-course menu by head chef Philipp Stapel. As a finale, Thomas will open his beer treasure cellar for a relaxed finish and invite guests to taste rare rarities from the past years together and to discuss them.The six beers in total make the evening a truly special tasting experience.Thomas has been brewing for over 30 years and was especially shaped by his time as head brewmaster at Stone Brewing in Berlin-Mariendorf (2015–2019). Since opening his own BrauKunstAtelier in 2020, he assembles a menu of aging beers twice a year. The collaboration with kitchens to shape culinary evenings is, for him, always a special highlight.His passion is exclusively for aging beers, which develop over years and retain their distinctive appeal even after long storage—a field to which he has dedicated himself as Germany's only brewmaster entirely devoted to it.Please let us know any allergies or intolerances at least 48 hours before the tasting by email at d.spahn@stoertebeker.com.
