Meeting point: Park am Weiher, Café Magic Weiher

The Eimsbüttel Park "Am Weiher" was created in the 19th century as the landscape garden of an estate. As the neighborhood became more densely built-up, the city purchased the land. It was intended to serve the public as a recreational space. After 1945, the park underwent various transformations. With its winding paths, old trees, and adjacent play areas, it has become an oasis of calm – despite its proximity to the busy Ring 2. With the planned new residential area on the adjacent Beiersdorf grounds, the district will continue to grow around the park. What does this mean for the neighborhood and the "Am Weiher" park?
