You will get to know the cuisine of the Lesser and Greater Antilles, from Barbados to Jamaica, Martinique, and the Bahamas. Rice with shrimp, chicken with peanut sauce, or also yucca pudding.

Elderly people are regularly targeted by fraudsters who try to trick them out of their money with fake offers, supposed prize winnings, and dubious sales tactics. Unwanted mail, emails, and phone calls are now commonplace for many seniors. However, these contacts often hide criminal intentions aimed at exploiting the trust of those affected and causing them financial harm. In this presentation, you will learn about common scam tactics, such as so-called shock calls. In these scams, fraudsters impersonate close relatives or police officers over the phone, feigning a dramatic emergency situation. Writing a good story involves more than just imagination and having fun with language. Writing is largely a craft process, as it is important to keep certain criteria for a successful story in mind. The seminar teaches what makes a truly good and "well-rounded," complete story – from the theme and the beginning of a story to the characters and character development, writing style, plot progression and tension arc, language, and good, authentic dialogues, all the way to a fitting conclusion and an intriguing title. Lastly, there are some important tips for finding a publisher or advice on self-publishing and marketing.
