Se enseñarán las bases para diseñar imágenes de letras en Handlettering: esbozar tipografías clásicas, experimentar con trazos de caligrafía, trabajar con Brushpens/bolígrafos de pincel. Posteriormente, a partir de esto, se podrán desarrollar pequeñas obras de letras y tarjetas de escritura en combinación.

This course introduces drawing through simple exercises and experimental techniques, training the eye, encouraging the realization of your own visual ideas, and providing access to artistic work. The goal is to discover and develop your personal drawing style. In good weather, we will draw outdoors in the neighborhood.

The oldest manual printing technique is relief printing or stamp printing. The appeal lies in the reduction. Simple yet very expressive prints are created. You work out the essence of your motif and transfer the motif to the printing plate. Then, with patience and spit, you carve. To protect your hands, workboards are available. We collect motif ideas together and, depending on the carving exercise and strength, you can work with linoleum or Softcut. You can experiment with different papers and printing inks.

Para la fabricación de tarjetas pop-up o tarjetas de corte plegado, se utiliza una variación del origami (ori = doblar, kami = papel) que permite cortar el papel. Con kirigami (kiri = cortar) se pueden crear tarjetas de corte plegado tridimensionales, desde simples hasta complejas, mediante cortes verticales y pliegues horizontales. Estas tarjetas desarrollan una profundidad espacial y generan arquitecturas sencillas o mecanismos de apertura. En este curso avanzaremos desde pop-ups simples hasta modelos más complicados. Pueden incorporarse fotos, imágenes brillantes, postales u otros motivos interesantes en sus propios diseños.
