Jewish Historical Institute

You will discover Warsaw as if with a friend; it is usually a private tour or a very small group (up to 4 people). Take a journey into pre-war Warsaw, where one-third of the population was Jewish. Discover the places that were important to this community: streets, gardens, and squares; learn how everything changed for them with the beginning of World War II. As we walk through the former Jewish district of Muranów, we will pay tribute to its former residents. We will stroll through the quiet, green streets that were once brought to life by Jewish shops and workshops. We will visit monuments created both in the past and more recently, such as a mural on one of the walls of a reconstructed building. It will be a true journey into the past.
