Description
The Alster Ahoi Tour starts and ends at the Supper Club and leads across the water through the most beautiful canals and waterways around the Outer Alster. Along the way, you'll pass historic bridges like the Goernebrücke, Krugkoppelbrücke, and Bellevuebrücke – all architectural gems from the early 20th century, partly designed by Hamburg's city planning director Fritz Schumacher. On board, you'll learn interesting facts about Hamburg legends like Hans Hummel, the majestic Alster swans with their unique "Swan Father," and historic sites like St. Johannis Monastery and the North German Regatta Club. A must-stop is Café Canale, which serves its guests coffee and cake directly from the water through a "boat window." The tour also offers spectacular views of Alsterpark, the TV Tower, and the idyllic Rondeelteich – all comfortably from the boat. Overall, the Alster Ahoi Tour is an entertaining mix of Hamburg history, nature, and urban culture across 24 diverse stops.
