This is an extended option for the Warsaw city tour. After the Warsaw city tour (where you admire palaces and pavilions, drive along the Royal Route, walk through the Old Town—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—and see the houses where Madame Curie was born and where Chopin lived), and after lunch, we drive to the outskirts of Warsaw to visit the interior of Wilanów Palace, built in the 17th century by King Sobieski, who defeated the Turks in the Battle of Vienna. Later owned by noble families, the palace became one of the very first museums in Poland. This magnificent Baroque palace (often called the Polish Versailles) survived all the wars, so you can still see its original interior and stroll through its charming English- and Italian-style park.
