Warsaw Ghetto

During this tour, I will show you places where Jews, who made up 30% of Warsaw’s total population before World War II, lived and perished during the Holocaust. You will see preserved remnants of the former ghetto walls, the installation depicting the bridge between the small and large ghettos, monuments to the heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, the Umschlagplatz, from where Warsaw’s Jews were deported to the Treblinka extermination camp in 1942, the still-functioning Jewish cemetery, and the Nozyk Synagogue, the only one to survive the war. We will also see the Jewish Historical Institute, the pre-war Judaic Library, and the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, known as Polin.

This is a very comfortable private tour—we pick our guests up from their hotel and drop them off afterward. Guests travel with a guide in a very comfortable air-conditioned minibus. Recommended start time: 9:00–11:00 a.m. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours. We will take you to the most important sights connected with the rich history of Polish Jews.
